Frontline logistics have a constant flow of staff starting at different times through their building, so a V20 Fingerprint scanner was situated at the main entry point, staff flow past the reader and place their finger on the fingerprint scanner, which checks them in. Read times are less than 1 sec and the staff quickly learnt how to use the system.

The time in and time out information is collected in a SQL Server database and can be analysed via the web based interfaced. Reports and management administration are carried out through the browser making the solution highly scaleable in a large organisation where a large number of staff need to update their respective areas.
